Programme
The Lycian coast between Kaş and Demre holds some of the clearest water in the Mediterranean. The cruise passes over the submerged remains of Dolichiste at Kekova island, where staircases and house walls, drowned by earthquakes in the 2nd century, are visible through the water.
The boat anchors at Kaleköy (ancient Simena) for a walk up to the Byzantine castle and its miniature rock-cut theatre, past Lycian sarcophagi standing in the shallows. Swimming stops and lunch on board are included.
