Programme
Set in pine forest on Bülbül Mountain, the small stone house is venerated as the final residence of the Virgin Mary, who is believed to have come to Ephesus with St. John. The site has been visited by several popes and is a place of prayer for Christian and Muslim visitors alike.
After the chapel, guests may leave a written intention at the wishing wall and taste the water of the sacred spring. The programme can be combined with Ephesus or with the Basilica of St. John in Selçuk on request.
