Programme
Eight kilometres above Selçuk, Şirince is a former Greek village of stone and stucco houses set among vineyards and peach orchards. The lanes are lined with small workshops selling olive oil, hand-loomed textiles and village produce.
The visit includes free time in the village, a stop at the 19th-century church of St. John the Baptist and a guided tasting of the fruit wines for which Şirince is known throughout the Aegean.
